There’s no surprise that I love a highlighter and as soon as I find one that I love I become obsessed with it and end up walking around looking like a disco ball for a while, I do still apply more than I probably need to but I like it and thats all that matters – I mean who doesn’t want to look like a fairy?!
I’ve heard loads of people rave about The Balm products especially the Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter but I never purchased it because I thought it was going to be way more expensive than £16 just by how pretty it looks. One thing that I’m really happy about is the fact when I first saw this for some reason I thought it was going to be fully packaged in cardboard and I hate it when I have a beautiful product that’s just sat in cardboard instead of a actual solid tin, so thankfully it’s in normal packaging with a beautiful and large mirror (win!)
It’s a pretty large product so for £16 you’re really getting a lot not just because of the size of the product but because of the pigmentation of it, it’s super pigmented and one of the most beautiful highlighters I have ever laid my eyes on – I’m not joking when I say I think I’ve actually fallen in love with a highlighter, a part of me doesn’t want to use it because I don’t want to ever run out but it’s even more beautiful on the skin. It makes me feel like a glowing little princess.
Have I mentioned how silky smooth this is yet? No? Well it honestly feels like I’m rubbing silk sheets on my face when applying this and it doesn’t feel heavy no matter how many layers I’ve caked onto my cheek bones to try and make myself into a walking, talking glitter pigment.
Have you tried the Mary-Lou Highlighter before?
