Would you believe it if I actually said this eyeshadow palette costs less than a tenner? That’s less than my normal McDonalds order, I mean I can actually get a eyeshadow palette that costs less than food – that’s just absolutely insane! I do think it’s pretty hard to find anywhere that sells W7 products in actual stores so I would say when you get the chance to stock up on then definitely do it mainly just because of the price.
I got the Beat It eyeshadow palette which is full of nude shades in a mixture of mattes and shimmers, there is the occasional dark shade in there too but that just makes it better to create a smokey eye with if you want to. The palette does come with a double sided brush too but I do prefer to use my own so I can’t really say whether or not it’s good but the fluffy side seems good enough, I just hate sponge applicators though especially on the eyes. I’ve also heard loads of people comparing this palette to the Naked 3 eyeshadow palette but since I’m a Naked virgin (ironic huh?) I won’t know about the comparison.
There’s 12 shades all together and I do think my favourite shade has to be Loaded which is a beautiful orange/copper shade with a shimmer, I think it’s such a amazing shade for Autumn but it’s also versatile so you can wear it in all the seasons! They feel really silky when you swatch them and even when applying them but one of the downsides to this palette is that it’s not as pigmented as I would like it to be, because when swatched they seem like they’re going to be amazing but when you’re blending them the colour does go a bit making them a lot less pigmented so you do have to reapply – but for the price of the palette it’s better than you would think they’d be.
Overall I do like this palette and I do enjoy using it for more daytime and natural kind of looks but it’s not my go to palette mainly because of the pigmentation.
Have you tried a W7 palette before?
