I will admit that I do not look after my hands anywhere near as much as I should do especially with the fact my hands get battered on a daily basis at work and then at home. With the fact I have super dry skin anyway you really would think that when it comes to the colder months I’d be layering on the moisturisers and hand creams to make sure my skin doesn’t start looking like a sad reptile but I don’t and I think that’s just simply down to the fact that I’ve never really found one that I liked before.
When I heard about O’Keeffe’s Working Hands* (£7.99) I was eager to try it out mainly because I’m willing to try anything in the off chance that I’m going to like it so save my poor little fingers, one thing that I do like about this product is the fact that it’s super thick – like not just a little thick is the thickest cream I’ve ever used and I love it. At first it can be a little hard to get out of the tube because of the consistency but you definitely get used to it, plus this hand cream is non scented so you don’t have to worry about having that nasty hand cream smell or walking around smelling like a gone off yogurt (anyone else get that smell?!)
A great thing about Working Hands* is that it’s meant to repair and protect dry and cracked hands which is the thing my poor little hands need now that it’s getting proper cold out – which I absolutely love by the way! Where I said it doesn’t have a scent it’s also non greasy so you don’t drop everything after you’ve applied it and you don’t have that horrid feeling like somethings sitting on your skin which is one of the main reasons I try and avoid hand creams, I just hate that feeling.
Overall I love using this hand cream because it’s such a basic thing that really makes a difference, since using this my hands are actually so much better and I’ve barely made a dent in the tube so you know this is going to last ages!
Working Hands is available from Boots for £7.99 from October 17th.
