On my recent trip to Berlin I ended up getting distracted by all of the makeup – shocker. But I ended up picking up this Douglas Mascara and Eyeliner duo which I think is great for the fact it saves up room in your makeup bag when you’re travelling, no more separate mascaras and eyeliners.
The main thing that made me buy this apart from the price – uh €7 is a bargain – is the fact when I looked at the eyeliner nib it was nice and thin, the kind of thin that made me fall in love with The Balms Schwing eyeliner. Plus the packaging of this is absolutely gorgeous so I love that too, it’s very Spring/Summer with the pale pink and blue design. It’s also very girly which I love.
I do tend to get mixed up with which end is which because even though they are labelled up pretty well so you can tell I’m not extremely lazy and end up forgetting to read them. No surprise there.
The eyeliner on this is amazing, and I mean amazing. It makes the most prefect flick and creates a thin line on your lid, you can even make it thicker really easily which is great. I feel like since I’ve been using this my eyeliner has gone back to being fleeky which makes me so happy, I’ve missed having fleeky eyeliner especially since my makeup skills have became almost non existent.
The only bad thing about this product is the mascara, I just don’t like it and I can’t get on with it. It doesn’t coat my upper lashes well and makes them kind of look non existent, they just add a bit of colour to them. But on that note this mascara is great for your lower lashes with the wand being quite thin and small.
