Beauty and Fashion Haul!

 Hiya my lovelies!

Well as I said I’ve recently gone shopping and bought quite abit so I thought that this blog post was needed.
I’m going to do a seperate blog post on my mini LUSH haul since it seems that this blog post is going to be quite a long one anyway and I don’t want to bore anyone with a heafty blog post!

Well lets start with what I bought from Topshop, I bought some things for my penpal which I won’t post on here since I want it to be a surprise! But I’ve been wanting a pair of their glitter socks for so long now and I finally decided to buy a pair! I bought the silver pair and just above ^ I’ve taken a close up of the sparkle, they’re just so sparkly and glittery and AMAZING!
I am 100% going back and buying each and every pair they sell.

Next up I went into River Island since they have a sale on at the moment and if you know me, you know that I can’t resit a sale.

Since the River Island near me is quite smale it meant that the sale was small and there wasn’t anything in the clothing area that took my fancy. But then I stumbled into the shoe section and there was so many shoes that I wanted but these ones really took my eye especially for only £7!

They’re just plain pimpsoles (similar to vans) but the material on the top is leather (faux) and I couldn’t resit them in my size as well!

I really regret not buying a bag I saw in the sale. I recoment that you all go check out the sale that their having to grab yourself a bargain!
I also picked up this little bracelt that was only £2 but the only reason that I bought it was become all the money went to breast cancer. If there’s anything like that I’ll always buy it, I can never say no to a cancer charity.

In superdug I mainly went in to look at the MUA makeup but sadly there was hardly any in there, it was all sold out! But I luckily managed to pick up these two pencils in the shades ‘Lovely Lilac’ and ‘Pink Me Up’ I’ve swatched them on my hand and they are so pigminted! That photo doesn’t really do it any justice and it was only one swatch!
I decided to buy these two products because I’m going to do a cheshire cat makeup tutorial for Halloween so keep your eyes peeled for that!
I love the MUA range so much, it’s amazing quality for great price, each of these pencils were only £1 each! I’m going to look into the other Superdrug by me in the week to see if I can see any other MUA items which hopefully are in stock! So there might be another mini haul coming along soon!

While I was still in Superdrug I took a look at the maybelline stand and saw some baby lips! I bought the ‘intense care’ one and I haven’t used it yet but as soon as I do I’ll do a post about it. I’ve been wanting one for a while but just never got round to buying one, but my current chapstick is running out so I needed to buy a new one so there was no better excuse to buy this beauty!

I’m going to see whether these are worth the hype everyone says they are. But in Superdrug at the moment they have a ‘Buy One Get One Half Price’ on everything Maybelline so I bought another thing! Which I’m keeping hush hush for my penpal. But at only £2 odd I couldn’t leave it there, it seems like such good value especially for such good packaging!

Mini Haul!

Hello all my lovely followers!

Today I popped into town to buy some things for my penpal for her christmas gift box and I ended up buying some things for myself! (naughty naughty I know)
I’m not going to post the things I’ve bought for my penpal just incase she sees this post, I don’t want to ruin any surprises!

I went into poundland, superdrug, topshop, river island and boots.
I’m going to do a seperate post on my beauty and fashion hauls from superdrug, topshop and river island. As well as doing a seperate post on my little (big compared to my usual pop in) buy in LUSH.

I just popped into poundland to have a look around since I very rarely go into town. (town btw is the bigger town, I usually go into the smaller town)
I was looking for some british things that I could send my penpal and stumpled upon this beauty! I saw this in Tesco before and I regret not buying it to this day but I’m glad that I didn’t since I got this big bar for only £1!
I’m so going to have to go back and buy more ASAP!

Next I decided that since Halloween is coming up (check out my halloween inspired ‘dead doll’ look if you haven’t already!) that I would look for some decorations, I’ve already started buying some but I hate having to pay loads for things I’m either going to chuck out or have to wait a whole year until I see again, so poundland was a great idea!

I stumbled upon these 18 spooky balloons in the colours orange and black by the make ‘fright night’. I love balloons so much that I needed to buy them and for only £1 I couldn’t go wrong!

I also bought a brain shaped jelly mould also buy the make ‘fright night’ , it’s pretty large I would say you would need at least 2 packs of jelly to fill it up! I really liked this buy because I havent seen anything like it anywhere and once again it was only £1 so I couldn’t leave it lying around! Especially since I love jelly!

While wondering around the store and trying to think of
some nice things I could send my penpal (leave any suggestions in the comment box if you can help me out!) I walked into a stand full of christmas chocolate treats and started thinking how strange it was that I was holding my halloween things and looking at christmas things. But I saw these mousse snowmen which I haven’t ever seen before in all my years of christmas chocolate loving.

Me being me and loving chocolate and a good bargain couldn’t leave these lying there for 2 for £1! I’m so excited to try these out!

I’m so happy that I went into poundland in the end! I will 100% be going back into poundland each and everytime that I am in town because I can’t believe how amazing it is!

Would You Rather TAG! (Beauty Edition)

Hello my lovely ladies! (or gents!) I decided to do this tag after seeing it on! I tag all of you who want to give it a go also!

Would you rather lose all of your Mascaras, Eyeliners, Lipsticks and Lip Glosses or lose all of your Palettes and Eye Shadows?
Oh god, I wouldn’t want to lose any of them! But i think if I had to chose it would be all of my palettes and eye shadows since I use my mascaras on a daily basis and my lipsticks are my life!

Would you rather chop off all of your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I’d prefer to never be able to cut it again! I’d look awful blonde and how would I style my hair!?

Would you rather have a coral or pink cheek?
A coral cheek, since a pink cheek looks awful on my skin because of my naturally rosey cheeks! Plus olive compliments my natural olive skin tone 🙂
If you had $1000. Would you rather spend it all on makeup or clothes?
How much is that in pounds?! D: This is such a hard question! Can’t I have both!? If i had to chose i think that I’d chose clothes mainly because I’M ADDICTED TO SHOPPING!

Would you rather use eyeliner as lipstick or lipstick as eyeliner?
Eyeliner as lipstick straight up, lipstick as eyeliner is just a no no. It would be a awful texture on my eyes.

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Well we don’t have a Sephora where I’m from but I’d say MAC anyway because I love MAC so much!!

Would you rather only use one Eye Shadow colour for the rest of your life or one Lip Colour?
One eye colour since I love my lipsticks too much. I wouldn’t be able to cope with the season changes if I only had one lipstick colour!
Would you rather wear Winter clothes in Summer or Summer clothes in Winter?
Winter clothes in Summer since I’m constantly cold and I wouldn’t be able to cope in the winter wearing summer clothes!

Would you rather wear dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Dark nails! It’s the colour I mainly wear anyway. I don’t like bright nails that much, they never look right against my skin tone.

Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
My favourite lip product. I wouldn’t be able to live without my benefit ‘they’re real’ mascara! It’s my life saver!
Would you rather keep your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Messy bun, but just because my hair gets frizzy so much in this weather and it wouldn’t look right in a ponytail. I do love my ponytails though so I wouldn’t be happy to see them go 🙁
Would you rather never be able to use nail polish again or wear lip gloss?
Lip gloss! I never wear it anyway, I HATE lip gloss! It’s just so sticky and horrible and just EW!

Would you rather shave of your eyebrows and have none at all or Sharpie them in everyday?
I think sharpie! But tbh neither! I draw my eyebrows in anyway but I think Sharpie-ing them would be too much, I would look awful with no eyebrows though, hence the reason I draw them in in the first place!

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Nail polish, since in my job I can hardly wear it anyway and I just pick at it all the time!

Halloween ‘dead doll’ look.

So since Halloween is sneaking up upon us and considering how much I LOVE halloween I’ve decided that I’m going to do some halloween inspired looks for you all!

I’ve decided to start off with a ‘dead doll’ look since this is what I decided to dress up as for halloween last year but I decided to add some different twists to make it that little bit better.

I know this makeup is very messy but I rushed it and I did to a video tutorial if anybody is interested in seeing it just comment below!

To achieve this look I fisrst applied my ‘rimmel match perfection’ foundation in the colour soft beige. My natural foundation and then I powered over the top with ‘rimmel stay matte’

I used the ted baker pink (I’m not sure what the correct colour name is sorry!) blusher in circles on my cheeks and applied it quite a few times. It is a very pigmented blusher anyway but you wanted it to be as bright as possible.
I applied my rimmel eyeshadow (can see a theme that I love rimmel coming up!) in the dark brown (once again my correct name had rubbed off the packaging sadly) over my eyelids and under my waterline to make my eyes appear a bit more sunken in.

I then applied my black cremesheen eyeshadow by ted baker in a circle over my eyes and filled them in, including down the side of my nose so once again it makes my eyes look sunken in and dead. I coated my eye lashes in the ‘benefit they’re real’ mascara (which i will be doing a review on about very soon!) just to widen them up a little.

I used a MUA lip pencil in the dark red shade to shape my lips into a heart shape leaving parts of my lips bare. I then filled this in with the ‘rimmel number 1 – queen of hearts’ lipstick.

Lastly I used my black liquid eyeliner to draw a line coming out of either side of my mouth and added some crosses and lines to make it appear as stitches and drew a teardrop coming down from my right eye.

So this is my finished ‘dead doll’ look for Halloween! If you liked this post don’t forget to follow and comment!

Avon glow: bronzing pearls review.

So recently I started to run out of my very trusted bronzing balls which I got from avon a long time ago and needed to replace them with a new, near enough same product. So when I was looking through the Avon catalogue recently and saw these beauties I just had to buy them to test them out! After all they was only £5!

The packaging is quite large and you do get alot of bronzing pearls inside this pot. I bought these pearls in the shade warm, there was only two shades to chose from and since I have an olive skin tone I bought these ones which blends lovely with my skin, I would say for darker skins warm is the best shade. I think the other shade was beige (I’m not sure don’t test me on it!) would be better for the lighter skinned and even olive, since I only need the tiniest bit on my skin and it is very noticible.

It is beautifully packaged and so easy to apply. I just use one of my blusher brushes and mix it with the pearls and blow any excess off my brush (as I said this is very pigmented) and just use it on my cheekbones to give me that ‘sunkissed’ look.

Overall I was very happy with this produvct and I would of payed more than the £5 I did pay because I can tell this product will last me a very long time!
If any of you have tried this product or have any reccomendations for me let me know!
